A Tesla-powered Nissan R32 Skyline drift car? Saaaay what?
Yes, you have read that right. The words Tesla, R32 Skyline and drift car in the same sentence. Am I mad? Quite possibly. In fact make that definitely.
Now you have seen the first part of this build you probably either love it or hate it. But either way, I bet you’re still reading this… Anyway, back to the build. The drive unit does not just work straight out of the Tesla. It needs a specially developed control board from Zero EV which gives complete control and removes Tesla’s software parameters.
As you may have seen via certain social media channels, we did a bit of highly technical testing a while back in the form of a, erm, donut in the yard. Nevertheless, it was a great success.
